Clinics and Special Events
The Boston Karate Club has organized special training clinics with many world-renowned instructors and was extremely fortunate to have hosted a clinic by Master Nakayama in 1986. Chief Instructor Master Okazaki visits the BKC every few months to teach and personally oversee the ranking sessions. Three-time world kumite (sparring) champion Master Masahiko Tanaka (7th dan) was guest instructor of the club in 1986.

The BKC regularly attends special training events, including the annual ISKF summer and fall camps featuring top JKA instructors from all over the world. There are regional, national and international tournaments and the BKC takes part in these events for the great training opportunities they present. The BKC also holds several special events including a New Year's Eve Midnight Training, Kangeiko (a week-long winter training), outdoor classes and other activities throughout the year.
