Inner Space yoga classes are fun and challenging, and perfect for your active children! They are taught by Caro (Carolyn Clark), a certified
and experienced instructor in an atmosphere that is
supportive and nurturing. By practicing a flowing series
of postures accompanied by deep breathing, children
of all ages learn to relax, focus their minds, and develop
a new awareness and respect for their bodies.
Helpful Note: The
Inner Space has a small play area with toys and
books for the younger siblings to have fun & keep
busy during class!
Kids Yoga is taught on Wednesdays at 4:15 pm
Through the use of fun games, poses with special names, and partner or group activities, children gradually work on traditional yoga poses to help develop fine and gross motor skills, flexibility and relaxation.
$100 10-class card, $12 drop-in fee
Karen Wenc teaches Iyengar Yoga for teens on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm.
This class is specifically designed to enhance skills of focus and concentration, increase capacity for power and strength and gently guide teens to their center point of peace and self-knowledge. The group learns how to build a strong core through abdominal exercises, learns balancing techniques, and stretches out the back, hips and hamstrings through a variety of different poses.
